What to Expect During Your First Visit
Family Friendly Environment
During your first visit, you will meet with our friendly staff, take a tour of our beautifully updated orthodontic practice and have a chance to relax in our comfortable reception area.
High-Tech Assessment
Each complimentary consultation includes photos and an x-ray so that Dr. Lawless can accurately assess all aspects of your smile including your teeth and jaw structure.
Knowledgeable Team Members
Dr. Lawless and his team meet with every new patient to review their diagnostic records, perform an exam, and talk with you about the best course of action to achieve your confident smile.

Your Safety Is Our Top Priority
- Your safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority. We have policies in place for the safety of everyone.
- Just as before, we ask that all patients brush, rinse, and floss prior to your appointment. In addition, we have provided a sterile brushing station in case you forget.
- All staff will wear a mask in our offices while working with patients.
Additional Safety Measures
- Screening and temperature readings twice daily for staff
- All entry and exit pathways clearly marked to enhance social distancing
- Disinfection of all patient surfaces after every visit
- Hourly disinfection of all other office surfaces
- Upgrades to our sterilization procedures to include Autoclavable Cassettes.

We’ve gone digital! Once you schedule your consultation, one of our friendly team members will send you a link to the online forms. Completing these online forms will save you time during your first appointment.
New patients will receive a tour of our state-of-the-art practice and meet the team to put everyone at ease during their first appointment. If you have any questions about the first visit or about orthodontics in general, don’t hesitate to ask!

If you are scheduled for a Virtual Appointment, please check your email before your appointment time.

If you do not receive an email from us before your appointment, please call our office and we will re-send it. A family member should join virtual appointments to help get the best views possible. We will update treatment progress and provide an opportunity for an in-office visit while on the call.

We are the only local orthodontic practice in the area that accepts most insurances! If your dental insurance plan includes orthodontic coverage, we will gladly apply the benefit towards treatment and help you save money!
